Setup integrations for Google Chat, Slack notifications and OpenAI-powered cost optimization insights

Google Chat Webhook

Create a Google Chat Space
Open Google Chat and create a new space or select an existing one where you want to receive BurnStop notifications.

Configure Webhook
In your Google Chat space:
- Click on the space name → Apps & integrations
- Click Add webhooks
- Name your webhook "BurnStop Alerts"
- Copy the webhook URL provided

Add to Dashboard
In your BurnStop dashboard:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations → Google
- Paste the webhook URL you copied from Google Chat
- Click Save Integration
- Test the connection to verify it's working

Slack Webhook

Create Slack App
Go to api.slack.com/apps and click "Create New App" → "From scratch"

Enable Incoming Webhooks
In your Slack app settings:
- Go to Features → Incoming Webhooks
- Toggle "Activate Incoming Webhooks" to On
- Click "Add New Webhook to Workspace"
- Select the channel for BurnStop notifications
- Copy the webhook URL

Add to Dashboard
In your BurnStop dashboard:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations → Slack
- Paste the webhook URL you copied from Slack
- Click Save Integration
- Test the connection to verify it's working

OpenAI Integration

Create OpenAI Account
Go to platform.openai.com and create an account or sign in to your existing OpenAI account.

Generate API Key
In your OpenAI dashboard:
- Go to API Keys in the left sidebar
- Click "Create new secret key"
- Name your key "BurnStop Integration"
- Copy the API key (it starts with "sk-")
- Important: Save it securely - you won't see it again!

Add to Dashboard
In your BurnStop dashboard:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations → OpenAI
- Paste the API key you copied from OpenAI
- Click Save Integration
- Test the connection to verify it's working
